Better Built Barns was established by the Brown family in 1994 out of a home garage in Dallas, Oregon.  They previously owned a dairy farm but hard times forced them to shut down the family farm.  The Brown's had just enough money to move to Oregon and build the first shed to display at a local home show.

 
After a little while, the family moved the business into a storage space in and decided that they should try to build a reputable name through marketing.  The business implemented different advertising formats but also knew the importance of the word-of-mouth recommendations from happy customers.  Better Built Barns still relies on customer satisfaction and will always see the importance in superior customer service.  

Better Built Barns is Headquartered in Salem, OR where it has been since 2003 and In 2007, by the Grace of God, Better Built Barns was approached by Lowe's to provide a quality shed for their stores.  It was perfect timing as the economic downturn was just beginning.  Since then, we have partnered with Jerry’s and McLendons Home Improvement stores as well as have expanded into Colorado.

Better Built Barns is looking forward to the future with plans to expand into new markets and as always we would like to thank our customers for giving us the opportunity to serve them with their outbuilding needs.
